Baseball Recap: Bentley Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hamady on Monday, Bentley came back down to earth. The Bulldogs came up short against the Mt. Morris Panthers on Wednesday, falling 14-1. The match marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Bentley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blake Woodliff, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Bentley dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Mt. Morris, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Bentley will be playing in front of their home fans against Morrice at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mt. Morris, they will take on Chesaning at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
