Softball Recap: Crown Point Panthers vs. Boquet Valley Griffins

Crown Point is still undefeated this season after their contest against Boquet Valley on Wednesday, but Boquet Valley came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Panthers came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Griffins. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-2 last Wednesday.

Kaitlin Ross spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and four unearned) runs on four hits and racked up 14 Ks. Those 14 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.

On the hitting side, Addison Hurlburt was incredible, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple.
