Basketball Recap: Apollo's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Apollo needed a changed in momentum after dropping six straight games and they got it from Jessica Lee. The Apollo Eagles put the hurt on the Warren Central Dragons with a sharp 47-22 win on Saturday thanks in part to Lee, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards. Those 14 points gave her a new career-high.

Apollo's victory bumped their record up to 2-12. As for Warren Central, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.

Apollo has already played their next contest (against McLean County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Warren Central will challenge Greenwood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
