Baseball Recap: Giles County Comes Up Short

Giles County came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Franklin County Rebels, falling 7-1. The Bobcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rebels earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Giles County's defeat dropped their record down to 11-18. As for Franklin County, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-17.

As of now, neither Giles County nor the Rebels have any future games scheduled.
