Baseball Recap: Fresno Comes Up Short

After flying high against Firebaugh last Tuesday, Fresno came back down to earth. The Fresno Warriors fell just short of the Immanuel Eagles by a score of 8-7 on Friday.

Fresno's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Immanuel, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Fresno will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Arvin at 4:00 p.m. on March 17th. As for Immanuel, they will take on Coalinga at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Immanuel is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.
