 In what's become a running theme this season, South Allegheny gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Friday. They blew past the Seton LaSalle Rebels 15-5. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for South Allegheny considering their two-run performance the  game before.
  Ava Brown was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  tossed six innings while giving up just two earned  (and three unearned) runs off   eight  hits (she also didn't allow any  walks). Brown was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with a  home run and five  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Cadence Mcbride and  Morgan Mosqueda did most of the damage at the plate:  Mcbride  went 1-for-3 with a  home run and two  runs, while  Mosqueda  went 3-for-4 with three  RBI and a  double. Another player making a difference was  Ava Kucera, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 On Seton LaSalle's side, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Meadow Kenard, who  went 2-for-2 with two  RBI and a  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kara Collins, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 South Allegheny's win  ended  a  seven-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 3-2. As for Seton LaSalle, they now  have a losing record at 1-2.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Allegheny will  take on Mentor at 8:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Seton LaSalle, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Upper St. Clair at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
