Softball Recap: Nashua North Titans vs. Dover Green Wave
Nashua North extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 20 on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 0-3 in the process. They came up short against the Dover Green Wave, falling 13-0. If the Titans were looking for revenge after losing 22-0 to the Green Wave when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
As for Dover, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1. That looming 13-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.
For Dover's part, Jeanna Martel made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Martel has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that she has brought in this season.
