There's no place like home for Blue Hill, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They claimed a resounding 82-6 victory over the Giltner Hornets. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bobcats also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Blue Hill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaden L'Heureux, who rushed for 113 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries. Jack Canterberry was another key player, rushing for 84 yards and three scores on only seven carries.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Blue Hill proved: they limited Giltner to a paltry three yards per carry. The team can thank Otto Turner for the heroic effort on defense: he. Blue Hill didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 12.9.

Blue Hill didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Canterberry and L'Heureux. Canterberry got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Blue Hill's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Giltner, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Blue Hill and Giltner will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Bobcats will take on rival Elm Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Giltner is set to face off against their familiar foe Deshler at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
