Desert View strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took down the Flowing Wells Caballeros 41-23. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Jaguars also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2022.

Desert View got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryan Vasavilbaso out in front who threw for 276 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.1% of his passes, and also rushed for 36 yards. Vasavilbaso is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for four or more in each of the last four games he's played. Alberto Grijalva was in the mix too, providing Desert View with two scores.

When it comes to explaining why Flowing Wells lost, don't look at Benicio Ruiz. Despite the final result, he rushed for 131 yards and one TD on only ten carries.

Desert View's record is now 10-0. As for Flowing Wells, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-3 record this season.

Desert View does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Flowing Wells, they will venture away from home to face off against Mountain Pointe at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th.
