Volleyball Game Preview: Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter Raiders vs. Beech Grove Hornets

For the first time this season, Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will challenge the Beech Grove Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter can't be to happy about their upcoming road contest considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Wednesday. They fell 3-1 to Christel House.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 21-25, 25-23, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Beech Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Christel House, falling 3-0.

While Beech Grove was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-19, 25-10.

Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter was able to grind out a solid victory over Beech Grove when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 3-1. Will Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter repeat their success, or does Beech Grove has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
