Soccer Recap: River Bluff Takes a Loss

River Bluff managed to slip by Lexington the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Gators lost 5-2 to the Wildcats on Tuesday. River Bluff fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Lexington since on Tuesday.

Steve Kamgain and Max Hegler scored both of River Bluff's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

River Bluff is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-7. As for Lexington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6.

Coming up, River Bluff will be playing at home against Christ Church Episcopal at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lexington, they will venture away from home to challenge Cardinal Newman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
