Volleyball Recap: Raymond Central Wins Going Away Against Arlington

Raymond Central won the last time they faced Arlington and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mustangs blew past the Eagles 3-0. The Mustangs not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0).

One reason for the win was Raymond Central's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16, 25-13.

Raymond Central found their leader in sophomore Julia Schultz, who had 13 digs and three assists. Those 13 digs set a new season-high mark for Schultz.

Raymond Central was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They are a perfect 4-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Raymond Central pushed their record up to 11-12 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Arlington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.

Raymond Central has already played their next matchup (against Roncalli Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Arlington, they will head out to take on Douglas County West at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
