Softball Recap: Cornell/Lake Holcombe Comes Up Short

Cornell/Lake Holcombe and Colfax squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Cornell/Lake Holcombe had to settle for second. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 11-0.

Colfax has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Cornell/Lake Holcombe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Colfax, they will square off against Boyceville on Thursday. The Vikings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season.
