Football Recap: Freedom Falls to St. Cloud in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Freedom unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the St. Cloud Bulldogs on Friday, falling 55-8. The Patriots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-8.

St. Cloud's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jeremiah Lattier, who threw for 186 yards and five touchdowns. Cameron Dalton helped Lattier out on the ground, rushing for 106 yards and one TD on only 13 carries.

Looking ahead, Freedom is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Satellite at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Cloud, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Pine Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
