Basketball Recap: Houston HomeSchool Takes a Loss

Houston HomeSchool's tournament run continued when they took on Indianapolis Northwest W on Friday. The Houston HomeSchool Raiders were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 76-75 to the Indianapolis Northwest W Warriors.

Leading Indianapolis Northwest W to victory were Finn Sempsrott and Josh Bowers. Sempsrott shot 67% from beyond the arc to rack up 28 points in addition to five assists and five steals, while Bowers dropped a double-double with 19 points and 16 boards. The dominant performance gave Sempsrott a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Taylor Smith, who posted 12 points.

Houston HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 25-6. As for Indianapolis Northwest W, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Houston HomeSchool nor Indianapolis Northwest W have any future games scheduled.
