Baseball Recap: Bellevue West Takes a Loss

Bellevue West fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Millard North on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 4-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in April.

Aiden Ensor made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

The defeat snapped Bellevue West's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 20-10 record. As for Millard North, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-11.

As of now, neither Bellevue West nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
