Preview: Fort Knox Eagles vs. Beth Haven Bearcats
The Fort Knox Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Beth Haven Bearcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Fort Knox pushed their score all the way to 65 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Edmonson County by a score of 67-65. Fort Knox has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Beth Haven came up short against Collins on Saturday and fell 59-48.
Levi Langley put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 22 points along with 7 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of DaMontez Malone, who scored 6 points.
Caverna's victory bumped their season record to 0-0 while Fort Knox's defeat dropped theirs to 0-1.
Fort Knox came up short against Beth Haven when the teams last played back in February, falling 71-63. Can Fort Knox avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
