Volleyball Recap: Grant's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Grant can bid farewell to their three-match losing streak thanks to their match on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Hart Pirates.

Grant never let Hart on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-16.

Gee Lillian paced Grant's offense, picking up seven kills. Lillian got some help from Longcore Emma and her nine assists. Emma was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Grant's victory bumped their record up to 21-12-2. As for Hart, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-17-1.

Grant has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Benzie Central on the 11th. As for Hart, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Cadillac on the 11th.
