Basketball Recap: Maplewood Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Maplewood won the last time they faced Grand Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Maplewood Rockets secured a 48-42 W over the Grand Valley Mustangs. Winning may never get old, but the Rockets sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Maplewood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Claire Urchek, who went 6 for 14 on her way to 19 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Aliah Brumit, who went 5 of 11 en route to 16 points and five boards.

Maplewood's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-2. As for Grand Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.
