Basketball Recap: Pius X Has No Trouble Against Sioux City East

On Saturday, the Pius X Thunderbolts were able to grind out a solid win over the Sioux City East Black Raiders, taking the game 77-64. The game marked the Thunderbolts' most dominant victory of the season so far.

The win got Pius X back to even at 4-4. As for Sioux City East, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pius X will welcome St. Pius X at 1:00 p.m. on December 30th. As for Sioux City East, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on South Sioux City at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
