Volleyball Recap: Sharon Takes Down Greenville in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Sharon had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Greenville Trojans by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Sharon's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dani Currie led the charge by getting 13 kills, 13 digs, and three aces. Those 13 kills gave Currie a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Emmalie Yobe, who had 31 assists and 17 digs.

Sharon's win bumped their record up to 15-5-1. As for Greenville, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7-1.

Looking ahead, Sharon will square off against Cathedral Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Greenville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
