Gray Collegiate Academy had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Aiken on Thursday. The War Eagles blew past the Fighting Green Hornets 3-0. The War Eagles' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Gray Collegiate Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-10, 25-17, 25-20.

Their offense was headlined by Emily Burgess and Taylor Dukes, who picked up seven kills apiece. They were helped by Colby Branham and Courtney Burgess, who contributed 14 assists each. Emily was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Gray Collegiate Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Aiken, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6.
