Volleyball Recap: Yelm Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Yelm came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Bonney Lake Panthers, falling 3-0. If the Tornados were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Panthers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Yelm dropped their record down to 4-12-1 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Bonney Lake, their win ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 5-7.

Yelm and Bonney Lake could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. The Tornados will square off against Curtis at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (229 vs. 4). Meanwhile, Bonney Lake (ranked 138th) will meet Puyallup (ranked 27th) at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
