Basketball Recap: Arts Takes a Loss

Arts was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 63-35 loss at the hands of the Mt. Zion Prep Academy Warriors. The contest marked the Jaguars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Arts' defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Mt. Zion Prep Academy, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-1.

Arts will face off against Bishop McNamara at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Bishop McNamara's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Mt. Zion Prep Academy, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Highland on February 8th.
