Leake Central had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 76-43 loss at the hands of the Neshoba Central Rockets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gators of the 59-38 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2022.

Kyli Truss had an outrageously good game for Neshoba Central as she scored 27 points. Another player making a difference was Jiar Henry, who posted 13 points.
