Baseball Recap: Parkers Prairie Wins Going Away Against Osakis

Parkers Prairie lost to Osakis back in April of 2018, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Silverstreaks with a sharp 9-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Parkers Prairie and bumps their season record up to 8-2. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-7 Osakis and 2-4 Pillager. As for Osakis, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Parkers Prairie will head out to face off against Pillager at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Huskies will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Osakis, they will square off against St. John's Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
