Football Recap: Andrew Jackson Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Andrew Jackson can now relate to. They fell 13-6 to the University Christian Christians on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 180th, while the Christians are ranked 34th).

Elissa Murdock continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for University Christian, throwing for 258 yards and one TD, while also rushing for 95 yards on only eight carries. 96 of Murdock's passing yards were hauled in by Abbey Mehm.

Andrew Jackson now has a losing record of 8-9. As for University Christian, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 9-0.

As of now, neither Andrew Jackson nor the Christians have any future games scheduled.
