Brentwood School entered their tilt with St. Bernard on Saturday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the St. Bernard Vikings 67-64. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 15th, while the Vikings are ranked 68th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brentwood School has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season. As for St. Bernard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brentwood School will face off against Crossroads at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Bernard, they will challenge St. Paul at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
