Soccer Game Preview: Killeen vs. Weiss

The Killeen Kangaroos will challenge the Weiss Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Killeen's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Killeen turned things around against Southwest on Saturday. Neither they nor the Raiders could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Kangaroos' first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, Weiss kept a clean sheet against Marshall on Saturday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Rams 1-0. Wolves' winning goal came courtesy of Dylan Bergvall.

Weiss' victory bumped their record up to 2-4-1. Killeen's draw gives them a new season record of 0-3-1.

Killeen might still be hurting after the 10-2 loss they got from Weiss when the teams last played back in January of 2019. Can Killeen avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
