Softball Recap: Mora Wins Going Away Against Clayton

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mora). They blew past the Clayton Yellowjackets 27-5 on Tuesday. The Rangers/Rangerettes have beaten the Yellowjackets the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Yellowjackets has come to flipping the script.

The team relied heavily on Jasmine Romero, who scored five runs and stole six bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2 stolen bases per game. Krista Valdez was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
