Football Recap: Johnson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Johnson lost against Davis Sr. back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors lost 40-14 to the Blue Devils. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-0.

Adam Nunez threw for 54 yards on five of 15 attempts. Jerome Taeleifi was his top target, picking up 28 receiving yards.

Johnson is on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Davis Sr., their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Johnson and Davis Sr. could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Warriors will square off against Summerville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (860 vs. 370). Meanwhile, Davis Sr. (ranked 729th) will meet Franklin (ranked 287th) at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
