Golden entered their tilt with Wheat Ridge on Saturday with 11 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 12. They blew past the Farmers 14-0. The Demons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

Dylan Paulson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Paulson was even better at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

In other pitching news, Austin Maleki looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

Back at the plate, Golden got a massive performance out of Jaydon Stroup, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most hits Stroup has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Luca Casali, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Golden always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .639. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wheat Ridge only posted an OBP of .190.

Golden pushed their record up to 17-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Wheat Ridge, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

Golden didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-2 win against Conifer on the 8th. As for Wheat Ridge, they have also already played their next contest, a 12-0 loss against D'Evelyn on the 8th.
