Munster had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Highland Trojans on Tuesday. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.
Munster's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-4-1. As for Highland, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Munster will challenge Mishawaka Marian at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Mishawaka Marian will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Munster surely won't give up without a fight. As for Highland, they will face off against Hammond Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Highland is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season.
