Volleyball Recap: Elkhart's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Elkhart hadn't done well against Eustace recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Elks walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bulldogs. Winning may never get old, but the Elks sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Brooke Cooper paced Elkhart's offense, picking up six kills. Cooper got some help from Layla Walding and her 12 assists. Rylee Lohmeyer and Cali Boyd kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Elkhart now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Eustace, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 11-1.

Elkhart didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Corsicana on the 23rd. As for Eustace, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Cross Roads on the 23rd.
