Basketball Recap: Southwind Falls Short Against Ranked Houston

On Saturday, Southwind faced Houston in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Southwind Jaguars took a 55-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Houston Mustangs. The Jaguars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 57-53.

Southwind's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Houston, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Southwind nor Houston have any future games scheduled.
