Basketball Recap: Jumpertown Comes Up Short

Jumpertown and Falkner squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Jumpertown had to settle for second. They fell 40-27 to the Falkner Eagles. The Cardinals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 55-50.

Jumpertown's defeat dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Falkner, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Cardinals coming up. As for Falkner, they will challenge Coffeeville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Falkner is facing Coffeeville at the right time seeing as Coffeeville is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
