Basketball Game Preview: Alliance Aviators vs. Marlington Dukes

Alliance hasn't had much luck against Marlington recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Alliance Aviators will look to defend their home court against the Marlington Dukes at 6:00 p.m. Alliance has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Alliance is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Chaney on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Alliance was outmatched by Chaney and fell 46-13. The Aviators were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-11.

Meanwhile, Marlington waltzed into their game on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They took down the Bulldogs 42-24. The Dukes pushed the score to 38-18 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs cut but never quite recovered from.

Marlington's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Alliance, their loss dropped their record down to 0-18.
