Volleyball Recap: St. John Bosco Academy Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

St. John Bosco Academy's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Holy Spirit Prep Cougars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

St. John Bosco Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 26-24, 25-18, 25-22.

St. John Bosco Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Holy Spirit Prep, their loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-9.

Coming up, St. John Bosco Academy will challenge Pinecrest Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Holy Spirit Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
