Softball Game Preview: Warren Warriors vs. Big Sandy Wildcats

The Warren Warriors are taking a road trip to take on the Big Sandy Wildcats at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Warren is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Warren took an 18-run loss the last time they faced off against Kountze, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Lions 1-0 on Friday. While the Warriors didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-22-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Big Sandy came out on top against Chester on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fourth inning. The Wildcats took their contest against the Yellowjackets 9-5.

Warren's record now sits at 9-0-1. As for Big Sandy, their record is now 3-1-1.
