Baseball Recap: Inter-Lakes Comes Up Short

Inter-Lakes lost against Belmont back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lakers lost 23-2 to the Red Raiders. The Lakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Inter-Lakes saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Streeter, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one double. Kaleb Knott also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Inter-Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Belmont, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Inter-Lakes will head out to challenge Hillsboro-Deering at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Belmont, they will square off against Berlin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
