Baseball Game Preview: Hereford Whitefaces vs. West Plains Wolves

Hereford has won five straight games at home, while West Plains has won five straight on the road dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Whitefaces will welcome the Wolves at 1:00 p.m.

Hereford is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Canyon just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

Hereford saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kalub Ramirez, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Meanwhile, West Plains made easy work of Pampa on Tuesday and carried off a 10-1 victory. Considering the Wolves have won 11 matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

West Plains' win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Hereford, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.
