Soccer Recap: Briggs Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Briggs, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against the Beechcroft Cougars by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Briggs also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The victory snapped Briggs' losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 3-7-2 record. As for Beechcroft, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Briggs will welcome Westerville South at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Beechcroft, they will host Whitehall-Yearling at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Beechcroft will be up against Whitehall-Yearling's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.38 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
