Basketball Game Preview: Holy Family Tigers vs. Pagosa Springs Pirates

The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Pagosa Springs had a senior duo take command as Elizabeth Currier had ten points and three steals and Karsyn Shahan posted 14 points and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Shahan has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ximena Garcia, who put up seven points.

Holy Family's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Pagosa Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Holy Family has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 27.8 boards per game. However, it's not like Pagosa Springs struggles in that department as they've been averaging 27 rebounds.
