Baseball Game Preview: Arthur-Okaw Christian Conquering Riders vs. Eastland Cougars

The Arthur-Okaw Christian Conquering Riders will square off against the Eastland Cougars at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Arthur-Okaw Christian managed to slip by Tuscola the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Conquering Riders lost 8-2 to the Warriors on Friday. The Conquering Riders' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Arthur-Okaw Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cody Kuhns, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. James Lee also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Eastland had lost two consecutive heartbreakers to Milledgeville and they left with a heavy heart again on Thursday. The Cougars came up short against the Missiles, falling 11-1. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Missiles recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Eastland's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Arthur-Okaw Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
