Basketball Game Preview: Itawamba Agricultural Indians vs. Amory Panthers

Itawamba Agricultural and Amory are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. The Itawamba Agricultural Indians will welcome the Amory Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Itawamba Agricultural will be strutting in after a victory while Amory will be coming in after a loss.

Itawamba Agricultural will bounce into Friday's match after beating Ripley, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Itawamba Agricultural managed a 49-44 win over Ripley last Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Amory lost to Shannon at home by a 59-44 margin on Tuesday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Itawamba Agricultural is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.2 points per game. As for Amory, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-11.
