Pelion gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They put the hurt on the Northside Christian Academy Crusaders with a sharp 59-38 win. The Panthers not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since January 6th (when they won 53-31).
Pelion's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kolton Rogers led the charge by dropping a double-double with 11 points and 15 boards. Rogers is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Jayden Fields, who posted nine points and six steals.
