Two dominant backs in Jameson Crawford and Isaiah Dewitt are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Knightstown Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tri Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Knightstown is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 44.7 points per game this season.
Knightstown's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They claimed a resounding 89-0 win over Cambridge City Lincoln. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Knightstown's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bryor Carmichael, who threw for 174 yards and four TDs while completing 75% of his passes. What's more, Carmichael racked up 156.3 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Knightstown's leading receiver Brody Willard was Carmichael's top target yet again, picking up 91 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Knightstown's run defense was locked in: Cambridge City Lincoln could only muster -0.9 yards per carry. The team can thank Alex Muir for the heroic effort on defense: he. Knightstown didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 14.5.
Knightstown's defense didn't let Braxton Dick, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for four sacks. Leading the way was Brantt Ellis with three. Andrew Buchanan got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Tri and Winchester Community meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Titans took a 22-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Falcons. The matchup marked the Titans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.
Knightstown will have to keep a close watch on Cooper Engle and Masyn Chalfant, a pair of players who had a big impact on Tri's prior game. Engle rushed for 74 yards and one score on only eight carries, while Chalfant rushed for 65 yards.
Knightstown is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points over those games. As for Tri, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
Things could have been worse for Knightstown, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 64-46 loss to Tri in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Chalfant, who rushed for 172 yards and four TDs while picking up 8.6 yards per carry, and also caught one touchdown. Now that the Panthers know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
