Basketball Recap: Paradise Adventist Academy Takes a Loss

Paradise Adventist Academy fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Plumas Charter on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Plumas Charter Warriors by a score of 55-52. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Plumas Charter's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dalton Bentz led the charge by dropping a double-double on 22 points and 14 boards. The game was Bentz's 12th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kooper Clark, who posted eight points in addition to seven rebounds and seven steals.

Paradise Adventist Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Plumas Charter, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4.

Paradise Adventist Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 47-25 win against Princeton on the 9th. As for Plumas Charter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 0-0 victory against Elk Creek on the 10th.
