After having lost a blowout in their previous game against River Islands, Venture Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Turlock Christian Eagles by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on October 7th.

Venture Academy was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21, 14-25, 25-14.

Dafne Medina paced Venture Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Medina got some help from Sofie Anders and her seven assists. Finally, Sarah Wegner kept Venture Academy's defense grounded, leading the team with six blocks.

Venture Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Turlock Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-21-1 record this season.

Venture Academy will square off against Sonora at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Turlock Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
