Volleyball Recap: Fort Wayne North Side Takes a Loss

Fort Wayne North Side was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Leo Lions. The Legends were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Fort Wayne North Side wouldn't go down easily and took Leo into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-15, 25-22, 24-26, 15-12.

Fort Wayne North Side's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Leo, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3.

Coming up, Fort Wayne North Side will head out to face off against Carroll at 7:05 p.m. on the 29th. As for Leo, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Huntington North on the 22nd.
